What is a front mount?
A front mount is a piece of mount board cut with an aperture (essentially a square/rectangular hole) that sits right behind the glass. This frames (😉) your media even more than just the frame itself but focusing your attention to the media within.
A front mount comes standard on all frames except the Display Case Range where you can upgrade your frame to include this.
While this isn’t an essential upgrade, it certainly elevates your frame to the next level.
Do you make custom frames?
We do indeed! Get in touch with what you're after and we’ll will be happy to assist you however we can to meet your requirements.
What games are supplied in your frames?
We use PAL games as we’re based in the United Kingdom, which means the artwork may differ from other regions around the world including NTSC counterparts. The artwork of the game case you see is the version provided, if you have any doubts though, please get in touch before purchasing.
Are the games you use genuine?
All games are 100% genuine with original sleeves, discs/carts and usually manuals, too! We source the best conditioned discs available on older games but due to the second-hand market we cannot guarantee their condition will be immaculate. Please bear this in mind before purchasing.
Can I send my own personal games to you to frame?
You can indeed. Just contact us for details on this one however please note, there isn't usually a need as all our frames offer the ability for you to easily insert your own game.
What is your returns policy?
In the unlikely event that you're not over the moon with your purchase, all you have to do is send the frame back within 30 days of purchase and we will offer you a complete refund. Please note, postage costs are not reimbursed when returning any frames and we are unable to offer refunds on personalised products including frames with personalised plaques.
I've bought a framed game but it has been cancelled, what happened?
We check the prices of individual games as the market changes on a regular basis, however in the unlikely event a game's market value price drastically increases that we haven't been able to identify before you purchase, we reserve the right to cancel the order and give you a full refund.
Why is framing media so popular?
Everyone has a favourite game, movie, or album, right? It’s like a little piece of ourselves that we love and cherish. We want to make sure that your favourite media can live on beyond the screen and grace your walls!
That’s where Frame-A-Game comes in. We were the first company to create a safe and premium display that lets you showcase your favourite media in a way that’s both stylish and safe. We started a trend that inspired many others to follow suit so just call us the trendsetters. 😏
Why don’t you offer printed backgrounds?
We offer products that evoke a sense of sophistication and minimalism. After years of refining designs to complement your media perfectly, we're confident our products will meet (scratch that!)...they will EXCEED your expectations.
In an era where AI is often misused to exploit the work of hardworking artists, we recognise the importance of ethical practices. We fully support the studios and creators who invest real time and talent into their craft, and we stand against those who attempt to profit from questionable means.
If you come across products for sale that feature key art or logos from games, be sure to check whether they’re officially licensed before making a purchase. That way, you can be confident you're supporting the creators and businesses that deserve it.
That said, we’re glad to offer this service to developers and studios who have proper permission from the copyright holder to use game assets.
