Are my discs safe from magnets?
Your discs are totally safe around magnets. They don’t affect the data at all, we just use them to make displaying and switching steelbooks quick and easy. Nothing to worry about, just clever design.

Are my games safe?
No need to worry about magnets messing with your games, DVDs, or Blu-rays. Unlike old-school floppy disks or hard drives that rely on magnetism, optical discs store data as tiny bumps and flat spots on the surface, which a laser reads. Because there’s no magnetism involved, waving even the strongest fridge magnet over your favourite film or album won’t do a thing. Your discs are safe, scratches and heat are the real culprits to watch out for, not magnets.
Do all steelbooks work with MagLevate?
MagLevate is compatible with all standard Blu-ray and DVD-sized steelbooks, our product is built to hold them perfectly in place. Thanks to extra-strong magnets, you can even keep all the contents inside while still enjoying that striking, levitating display.
How does my game levitate?
Your steelbooks aren’t just displayed, they appear to be floating effortlessly from the wall. We designed it this way on purpose, creating a clean, modern look that makes your collection stand out like a true work of art.
What can't MagLevate hold?
MagLevate is designed specifically for standard steelbooks, so it won’t work with plastic cases or steelbooks in extra-thick covers (such as the Horizon or The Last of Us Part II Collector’s Editions). In short, anything that isn’t a regular steelbook won’t be supported.
How do I stick MagLevate to the wall?
Every MagLevate comes with a pair of genuine Command Strips (yep, the real deal – no knock-offs here). That means you can stick your MagLevate to the wall in seconds, and trust the power of Command to keep it firmly in place. Easy up, easy down, no fuss.
My steelbook has a sleeve, will it work?
You bet it will! Those strong magnets have no trouble gripping steelbooks through sleeves, and if you pop it into one of our slipcases, it’ll still hold firm. Simple, secure, and seriously satisfying.
How easy is it to change my steelbooks?
Swapping steelbooks takes just seconds – lift off the old one and click the new one into place (with that oh-so-satisfying magnetic snap!). And don’t forget, we’ve popped in a handy little spirit level so your new steelie sits perfectly straight.
What can I do to ensure installation is a breeze?
